Gradac hill
Archaeological site, Konopnica. We do not have a photo yet.
The imposing Gradac hill, unusual in shape, is an important archaeological site and holds traces of medieval material culture. The ancient Romans built ramparts on it.
There is a record of a Roman coin, a piece of Justinian I, found at the Gradac site. At the Slanište site a bronze figurine of a deer was found.
Research was carried out in the seventies of the 20th century and then stopped, so, as the Tourist Organisation writes, “Gradac hill remains a mystery to this day”.
