Vlasina Fest is a three-day festival held on the banks of the Vlasina river, by the town bathing area. The festival officially opens the bathing season. It is organised by the Tourist Organisation of Vlasotince.
Part of the programme is the Vlasinski spust, rafting down the river: in 2024 from Ploča to Maričkino, and in 2025 from the restaurant “Naša Vlasina” to the dam.
With the festival the Tourist Organisation cites the saying “kuj od more sanja, neka dođe u Vlasinu da se banja” (whoever dreams of the sea, let them come and bathe in the Vlasina), because the Vlasina, as it says, is our sea.
