For the town patron-saint day, the Day of the Translation of the Relics of the Holy Father Nicholas, 22 May, the Cultural Centre organises an event with a varied programme. The slava bread is cut on the feast day at the town cross.
The town patron-saint day is the central event of the Days of Vlasotince. In 2026 the event ran from 18 to 22 May and was organised by the Cultural Centre with the support of the Vlasotince church deanery.
For the feast day in 2025 the announced programme was the liturgy in the church at 7:30, the procession through the streets of Vlasotince at 11:15 and the cutting of the slava bread at 12 at the Cross.
In the village of Manastirište the feast of the Translation of the Relics of Saint Nicholas has been celebrated every year since 21 May 1991.
